Currently when an Issuer sets the "Share to LinkedIn" in their Recipient Experience Settings to Don't Show the expectation is, without further clarification, that the option for sharing to LinkedIn is completely removed.
However, this only removes one sharing button for LinkedIn while other options remain. That is, the option for sharing in a LinkedIn post is never truly removed, without removal of both the social sharing widget, and the option for adding to LinkedIn Profile separately.
This means Issuers have no option of ONLY encouraging recipients to add credentials to their LinkedIn profile.
If the settings "Sharing to LinkedIn = Don't Show" and "Add to LinkedIn = Don't Show" and "Social Media Share = Owner only/Public", LinkedIn sharing is possible via Social Sharing widget.
If the settings "Sharing to LinkedIn = Don't Show" and "Add to LinkedIn = Owner only/Public" and "Social Media Share = Don't Show", LinkedIn sharing is possible via the "Add to LinkedIn button.
